Online Therapy with Goldie
Therapy with a Registered Psychologist creates a safe and confidential space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and receive compassionate, evidence-based support tailored to your journey.
I am a Registered Psychologist with the New Zealand Board of Psychologists and a member of the New Zealand Psychological Society.
I welcome self-referrals and referrals from clinicians. I work with adults (age 18+) experiencing a range of challenges and therapy goals. I have a special interest in anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), depression, low self-esteem, relationships, health conditions, life transitions, and existential concerns.
I take an integrative approach, drawing from evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).
I am dedicated to providing empowering, personalised care. I take a strengths-based, person-centred approach, creating a safe and collaborative space for clients to reflect without judgment and work towards their therapy goals with compassionate guidance.
I invite you to also read my bio for further information about my background, qualifications, and more.
What to expect: You can access therapy through secure video calls, or by phone if that better suits your needs.
In our first appointment, we will typically explore your background and experiences before discussing your therapy goals and preferences. This process may extend beyond the initial session to ensure a thoughtful approach to your needs.
We will also reflect on whether we are the right fit for working together. Finding a therapist who feels right for you is important, and if at any point you prefer to work with someone else, I can provide information on other therapists upon request.
Frequency, duration, and cost: Sessions are 50 minutes long and cost $210 (GST included). The frequency and number of sessions is typically based on the client’s goals, availability, budget, and interest in short-term or long-term support.
Need help with therapy funding? Click here for more information; or click here if you are a student. If you are eligible, the required paperwork can be provided to support your application.
Cancellation policy: Cancellations with more than 48 hours’ notice incur no fee. Cancellations made between 48 and 24 hours before a session will incur a 50% fee, and those made within 24 hours will be charged the full session fee.
I deeply value the time, effort, and resources clients invest in these sessions. When a cancellation incurs a cost, I aim to use the time in ways that benefit the client.
Refer yourself for Therapy: To arrange a free, confidential, no-obligation 15 minute phone call about your interest in therapy, please email goldtreetherapy@gmail.com. Please mention that you wish to refer yourself for therapy, and include your first name, surname, email address, and phone number.
Referrals from Clinicians: Clinicians are welcome to email goldtreetherapy@gmail.com to request that I contact their client or patient to explore their interest in therapy. A secure clinician referral form can also be provided on request. You may also request a brief, confidential phone call before or after making a referral, or let me know if there is anything else I can assist with.
Please ensure your client has given consent to be contacted by me for this purpose, and include confirmation of this in your message, along with the client's contact details. It's also helpful to clarify in your email that this is a clinician referral and include your full name, your role and organisation, and your email address and phone number.
Thank you for your interest in Gold Tree Therapy services!
